Formally Hicks Enterprises, Inc., an Oklahoma Corporation that organizes and markets restaurant dining card promotions under the name of Diner's Choice, the company has created dining cards for Norman, Lawton, Duncan, Ardmore, McAlester, and Ada Oklahoma. Also, Greenville and Lubbock, Texas.

Now doing business as McCleery Enterprises, Inc., a California Corporation, we are proud to announce our new name Epicurious, which is a Greek word for Healthy Foods and curious to find new restaurants.

Owner Luann McCleery moved from Salt Lake City, Utah to San Diego. Luann established the business in 1993 in Lawton, Oklahoma. Because of her background in advertising, Luann felt she could develop a more convenient alternative to bulky coupon books and developed the dining card concept. Luann has develop 8 markets over the 8 years and is now bringing it to Rancho Bernardo, where she resides.

Each participating restaurant signs a contract with Epicurious in order to be represented on the card. Basically, the dining card is just another form of advertising for the restaurants. The card generates lots of new customers and by the end of the promotion each restaurant generally has a larger "regular" customer base. Many of our restaurants have signed up for each promotion because it is a very successful advertising tool.

I am looking forward to bringing my knowledge of the dining card to Rancho Bernardo and expanding to other markets in San Diego. I enjoy working with local restaurants, our customers and all of the Civic Organizations, Churches, School Programs and other Associations that sell our cards for their fundraising.
